Last fall, I was really inspired by this Vogue Paris spread shot by Patrick Demarchelier and styled by Carine Roitfeld. I loved the silhouettes, and the pairing of unlikely elements displayed here. The hats used for styling, and the cropped pieces used for layering were standouts. Additionally, I loved the look of avant garde pieces layered on top of more delicate feminine fabrics. And then of course there is the lace...All that being said, although this was a spread from last fall, the look and principle can be replicated again with must-haves from this season's designer collections and high street go to's.
