The main FW 09 editorial in the September issue of Italian Vogue is so conceptual and interesting. Shot by Steven Meisel, the look is chimney sweep hobo meets Pirates of the Caribbean. Random yes, but the result is purely delightful, and hard to take your eyes off of. The makeup, posturing and styling all create a tableau set for the stage with a faux Playbill to open the story. So magical, and while the title of the issue is "Unexpected" let's be honest, would we expect anything less?
Wow, that editorial looks so fun! I can't wait to get that issue. By the way, you won't believe this, but I was at a friend's place in Tribeca for dinner last week and I met your friend Jill! She was telling me about your jewelry and I said, "Wait, I read her blog! I love it!" Small world!
