Sometimes I buy things, never wear them, and forget about them completely. Then they miraculously show up in my closet like an angel in the heat of dressing desperation. This is the story of the shorty coat below. Purchased from H&M, I don't know when, it magically appeared today and tied my whole outfit together. The military green hue of the coat works perfectly with the acid yellow color of my vintage blouse. In retrospect, I think I was channeling elements of Proenza Schouler's SS 08 and SS 07 collections as inspiration...
