Today's Look: Old Glamour

I love the Rosy vintage boudoir feel of this look. From the cashmere turban to the Sonia Rykiel for H&M lounge maxi dress, there is a strong old world inspiration...I cannot decide whether or not I look like a crazy gypsy or a 20's showgirl in her dressing gown...whatever it is, a sense of nostalgia is definitely present. I also want to mention the charcoal silk Jean Paul Gaultier jacket I am wearing. With a double breasted cut and angular lapel, the jacket is both incredibly structured and voluminous at the same time. With the purest essence of masculine/feminine contrast, the front the jacket is strong in its stiff shape, but the back is sweet and feminine with its pleating and adorable bow detail. It is an absolute favorite in my wardrobe. Finally, I gave the look a little bit of clash by adding the bullet spiked Assad Mounser Moonage Daydream Collar.

Turban from Muji, dress by Sonia Rykiel for H&M, necklace by Assad Mounser, chain belt is vintage, charcoal jacket by Jean Paul Gaultier, leopard jacket is vintage, textured tights from Gap and suede platforms by Michael Kors
