Will You Be My Boyfriend?

Invest in a piece with some longevity. The boyfriend blazer had a huge presence this season season, and will stick around into Resrort 2010. Stella McCartney is the master, always providing a great boyfriend option with a chic twist (see below Images #1, 2, and 3 from her SS 09 Runway show below). Proenza Schouler gave us a great cutaway crinkled tomboy styled blazer for Resort 201o (see Image #4). Also a Resort 10 look, in Image #5. Roksanda Illincic offers the idea of a boyfriend blazer back to a dramatic maxi dress which I totally love. Finally, for Spring 09, Alexander Wang offers up that 80's icy mint color tone in a great oversized silhouette - Image #6.

Ring Around the Rosey...

From the high end designers to High Street, rose gold (as we all know I have been loving) is here to stay. Let me start by saying that I am obsessed with Roksanda Illincic, her design aesthetic is incredibly appealing with its distinct feminity and drama inducing drape details. The 3 Images below are from her Resort 2010 collection. Take note of the gorgeous shoes as well which are Alejandro Ingelmo. Below those images are additional looks and pieces that capitalize on this warm metallic and will act as amazing, seasonless wardrobe staples throughout the entire year!
