I was really intrigued by a recent style.com article featuring the upcoming long skirt trend for fall. Part 70's, part gypsy, and part prairie, long skirts are a great way to layer up with comfort once the temperature starts to drop again. Another thing I noticed was the way designers merchandised this future staple with contrasting mensy details - blazers, grandpa cardigans and vests. This trend is out in the streets as well, and a few months ago while working on a project for Japan I even shot a fall look focused around the long skirt silhouette.
